Our ad agency, PHOENIX Werbung, Service & Communication, has produced a documentary history on behalf of the prestigious CLAAS Company. The click on the Claas Chronicle opens the extract as an eBook in your chosen language.
The CLAAS Chronicle portrays the story of a medium sized family company on a total of 240 pages, divided into nine chapters with 36 articles, over 450 colour and black and white pictures plus a number of diagrams. It follows the modest beginnings in 1913 to the long liner of today, a large corporation with a worldwide presence.
Journalist Horst-Dieter Görg teamed up with Claas old-timer Willi Kemper to select the team of experienced authors who gathered and analysed the company’s background, sifted through historical data and recorded anecdotes. In this process some un- known pictures and documents came to light, all of which contributes to a fascinating chronicle of this company.

The French version appeared in February 2005 to coincide with the SIMA exhibition in Paris. The debut of the French version on the opening day of the SIMA went off very well with plenty of interest in the publication. The sales of the Chronicle in France are managed exclusively by Editions France Agricole in Paris.
The English version of the CLAAS Chronicle has been put into the capable hands of William Howard, a former Claas executive who is today marketing consultant for the group. With his background knowledge and customary attention to detail the texts are being adapted for English speaking countries and the final edition is scheduled to be available from October 2006.
